Why do I sense there’d be a bit of asymmetry to the implementation of such a laissez-faire policy towards political ‘humor.’

Reasonable compared to ‘don’t apologize’ [BTW who asked for an apology, ever] ‘we have 50x worse’ ‘beware the mighty power to piss off?’

I’ll add, it probably wasn’t fair to you in particular to serve as the stand-in for the torrent of the kind of ‘snark’ that seems to be popping up everywhere.
