New cars come with loaners when they need fixed. New cars can be fixed by any brand certified mechanic. Routine maintainance can be done by the owner or any licensed mechanic. Old cars need insurance too.

The Accord changed my perception on CVTs entirely. Figures it would be Nissan that makes the worst ones and then sells them to everybody else as well.
