I agree, and I like him a lot. But its also not crazy to me that people who put on late night as something to fall asleep to would rather watch lip synch battles. Personally, I would love it if there existed late-night alternatives for those who like Fallon's style and those who like Colbert's style. I'm not sure CBS…

Yeah, I guess I get why people don't like Fallon but it seems like watching celebrities play weird games is appropriate for 12:15am TV on a weekday. I like Colbert a lot, but Im also not under the impression that late night TV hosts need to be striving for deep political interviews
