I wonder how many books the Dark Tower movie plans on covering because the Gunslinger had a much different tone/story than the rest of the books in the series. It would be odd to combine it with Drawing of the Three I think

Ive only seen one episode this show and it was a while ago, but I remember something happening along the lines of this girl's mom coming home looking worried, and the girl immediately thinking:
"Oh no, was it the terrorists!??"

Slight SPOILERS

Yeah, and the amount of people they had in this was pretty impressive, so its hard to complain I guess about some of the parts being small

oh, okay thanks. for some reason, I thought I remembered it being bigger, like in some of the scenes involving Michael Ian Black

does anyone know why AD Miles has such a small part in this? Its been a while since I saw the movie, but didn't he have a much bigger role in the movie?

Yeah, I remember hearing that too. At the very least it was a response to critics who say his songs were too lightweight, possibly Lennon said something along those lines as well.

I think its a decent song. Pretty self aware and ,if anything, demonstrates Paul's ability throughout his career to be able to blend in with the musical trends of the day pretty seamlessly (in this case mid 70s disco pop).

The White Album is of course fantastic, though perhaps because of its double-album and experimental nature, I think it does contain some of the Beatles most skippable songs (relatively speaking). However, I would give probably give that title to something like Wild Honey Pie or Don't Pass Me By

Hey Robert Webb tweeted today that Peep Show season 9 just started shooting! Finally!!

I wondered if the line before Carly Rae Jepsen came out along the lines "If you were fast forwarding until the interview, you can stop here" was a joke about the potential hordes of Jepsen fans who are watching an episode of a show they've never heard of before just to see her. Or maybe it was just another random

Thats what made S1 so creepy. Was it actually got us (or at least the characters) to believe, at least momentarily, in a supernatural basis behind the murders. I think if it was actually revealed to be some other-worldly thing, it would've taken away from that uneasiness and uncertainty

I spent like 5 days in Vancouver once like 3 years ago and now I recognize it all the time in TV shows, its become sort of distracting

Oh, I didn't realize that. I guess its not a huge deal, but the commercials were so annoying about it.
They were like, "YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHICH AVENGER SHOWS UP IN THIS MOVIE…..OH WAIT, NEVER MIND WE'LL JUST TELL YOU!!!!"

Yeah, I like it, though probably not as much as other people here.
I was mostly referring to the AV club's strong opinion of this season coupled with the plot of today's episode

without seeing today's Bojack Horseman episode, I predict a high grade

I just wanted to say that the new Ant-Man promos they're showing on TV gleefully spoil what I assume is the big surprise Avenger's cameo. The movie's been out less than a week! Arghh..

In general, I get the sense that Fargo's not going try to to reboot itself every year, but tell different stories in the same region with similar tones, whereas TD wants to play with different styles each year. To each their own

Even though he's barely in the trailer, after watching it I get a good feeling Ted Danson is going to be aewsome in this
