Its been a few weeks since I watched the episode, but didn't he also crack a half smile as he was driving into the helicopter, like in a "yeah, you guys need me" sort of way? Pretty awesome

EinS for me is forever associated with the Friday Night Lights movie (or suburban Texas in general)
Yeah, I agree that it went "full action movie", but IMO a well executed one. It helps that we had 11 slower paced episodes precede it so that we know the character pretty well by this point, so it was that much more entertaining to watch all of them finally interact.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see him briefly turn into a sort of inter-cluster antagonist (like Jayne in Firefly) in season 3 or something.
Yeah, I really enjoyed this episode. Even though, once it became clear that each sensate was going to help get though each "stage", it became easy to predict who was going to help when, it was still immensely satisfying when those short term expectations were met.
Like, for instance, when they get to the van, I…
they needed room for the Vampire Diaries episode :p
I would say the emmy in the first season is well deserved IMO. It didn't try to reinvent the sitcom but had very sharp writing and I remember it feeling very fresh. A sitcom should make you laugh, and I remember laughing a lot in the first season episodes. The second season was pretty good too, and I think its gotten…
If you haven't already, you should listed to Lennon's original demo for Real Love. Its sort of haunting in a way
Same. My parents hardly ever let me rent a video game so it was beyond frustrating to have wasted my choice on this. It seemed like such a safe bet, with Mario on the cover!
I remember renting a SNES game at blockbuster around this time called Mario is Missing. You played as Luigi looking for Mario by walking down streets or something. It was really strange..
Yeah, when I first saw this movie in high school, I was so impressed with the way the characters talked and seemed really smart. Then, I actually went to college, met too many people exactly like that, and couldn't get through the entire movie when I tried to rewatch it.
Agreed. It seems way too elaborate and its not really clear why its okay for kids to know but not adults
Yeah, thats possible. Although everyone seems to be being woken up in the same order they were put to sleep in. For instance, the other FBI agents were presumably put to sleep before Ethan and also lived in the town longer than he has
Maybe I missed this, but if they were all in hibernation, then why did Ethan arrive in Wayward Pines before the rest of his family? Was that just to make him think that no time had passed?
Im sorry if this has been discussed before, but is there not going to be Classic reviews this summer?? Thats always been one of my favorite features here..
