SOOOOOOOOOooooo

wait.....what? basically.. a riced out 3 series for 30k

I run a transmission shop. A mint, 30k miles 1993 Chrysler Concorde came in last week. I still wouldn’t pay near new sticker price for it. Clean and low mileage doesn’t mean anyone wants to pay for it.

This car was $15,000 brand new. Now I know.. adjust for inflation yadda yadda yadda but... c’mon man. CP

Problematic provenance.. while prices have stayed up somewhat for these GTOs, they’re not a collector car people will be clamoring over and there’s much cheaper ways to get your hands on some supercharged LS motor goodness.

It’s clean, medium miles.. but not a model anyone really cares about. CP

Live in Upstate NY, purchased an outback for $500 and $600 replacing most of the front suspension and can jump in with severe affirmation.

CP. VERY narrowly. Looks great and well cared for and maintained... BUT for asking premium pricing miles are climbing .. no emissions and wonky CEL... breaks my heart to go CP

Came to say exactly this. Dumped a bunch on a probably serious problem, and it didn’t fix it thoroughly, so cutting and running and hoping to stick someone else with the bill.

God I’ve always had such an irrational weak spot for the Esprit.

Clean, low miles, and reeeeeeeeking of glorious cruises of American exuberance. Hopefully can knock 500 off the price and NP all day.

I’m actually assuming it’s a NP because the last zero is a typo. Right? Has to be.

needs another restoration at 100k, and it’s not a 69 or 70 so it shouldn’t be priced as if it were one.

Things I don’t want in a car with notoriously terrible seal issues: to have it sit without running for long periods of time.

Tough call this. I wouldn’t ever pay it, but someone definitely will.

“Hey, fix my car for 8 grand.... no. You pay me.”

A neat car if you already own it. Not something to jump into now, however, especially at 7 grand.

Who are these people wasting bay leaves in chili? A nice marinara is incomplete without a few bays leaves, and homemade pot pie filling uses it well.. but chili is so over the top in flavor, bay leaf wouldn’t be noticed.

An old Audi who’s electrical issues are just starting? Sign me up! Gotta reluctantly go CP on this one..

Y’all are getting soft. This is most un-jalopy thing I’ve read. A car that drives amazing, but requires you to work on it? I get it.. it’s not convenient. But c’mon.
