I didn't say I paid for it.
EXACTLY…. on the NBA show on ESPN he was always trying to remind everyone that he was the smartest guy in the room and knew more than anyone else…. even the former players. That 'smarter than you' vibe is really irritating… especially when he can't even pronounce some pretty simple words.
He's too much of a fanboy of these people to do a good interview on air.
He's got 2 years left on this HBO deal….. it'll be interesting to see what if anything they get out of him.
not really… that's why it's dead
NB-A-HOLE!!!!
Yeah… his first 'book' was just a bunch of his old columns printed out and bound together. That was the first time I felt really jobbed by the guy.
The long form stuff was always the best stuff though.
He was pretty bad on ESPN's NBA stuff yet seemed to think he was the only reason the show was on TV
and THAT is where he needed a boss to say NO. That's what he's missing right now.
Identifying talent is probably his best skill.
What he has done since leaving ESPN has been poor. His podcast is now just an excuse for him to swear a lot. The TV show looks like something from the launch of ESPN2 way back when and he's just not a very good TV personality. The Ringer is definitely NOT Grantland. His 'underdog' schtick that worked SO WELL before…
I've seen much more than that…. lol
hmmm…. I'm pretty sure Mephisto is referred to in several different instances as the actual Devil.
there was 2?
My 20 year old nephew's favorite director is Zach Snyder.
DRIIIIIIIIIIIINK
Sorry. I thought you were still on DC with your last comment.
I didn't say on origin….. we certainly don't need Batman's origin for the 8000th time. Actually I wish they would have launched the DC universe without him at all….. sick of bat crap.
