I’ve had to wait in line at a gas station before (costco is like this every weekend). I’ve been to gas stations where the pumps are broken. Etc.

Why should they move to Wyoming?

I wouldn’t want to live there regardless. I had to go 5 months ago on a business trip. I had not been in years. There is nothing redeeming about it. Tons of snowbirds move there to get away from miserable cold weather only to move to where its so fucking hot and humid they have to escape it in their air conditioned

This is from 2020. It’s not solidly red. Its separated much like everywhere else, where there are big cities its blue. The rural areas are red. It would be very easy to get enough people down there to flip it. Why should they move to Wyoming?

Money from the auto dealers, and of course, because Mr. Musk is a white nationalist just like Mr. DeSatanist...

Yeah, but then you would have to live in Wyoming. Wouldn’t it be better to live somewhere with schools, culture, sports, museums, jobs, etc.?

There isn’t one.

They don’t want any left-leaning people visiting or living there. Politically, Fl is a damned important state. Republicans can’t win the presidency without it, no matter what.

I try not to let it get to me too much - different people like different things, it doesn’t directly harm me, etc. (Aside from last year’s articles about her private plane carbon emissions, and 90 diesel rigs crossing the country

If you can't make money without breaking the law, then you shouldn't be in business in the first place. That is capitalism 101, not communism.

It would be able to be argued as not “excessive” as it is based on a %. With your argument anyone who does not have financial means should be able to challenge any fine based on “excessive fines” as fines for them are a greater % of their income than someone with more means, thus creating an inequity.

I’m not even sure what you’re trolling for.

Good.

But...it’s a business. Volvo continuing to exist is a thing I would like more than it being overtly esoteric. Let us never forget SAAB.

We don’t know this person’s story. This could be a trust fund kid and a $25k car could be a “shitbox”. I’m just saying that I’ve heard more ridiculous things than buying a reasonably priced, dependable vehicle after graduating. I have the same thought as you personally, I drove my college car for 2 years after

Came here only for the “I only pay cash” and the “I only buy used” standard ubiquitous Jalopnik pedantic comments.
