I'm a vocal supporter of good Android apps, so at least you wouldn't be without the helpful 'street team' factor... ;)

Cool, thanks Effi. The web app sounds great, but I'll hold off until I can get my hands on an app (I don't like having access to important services through a browser only). Cheers for the reply!
Anyone know of any cross-platform alternatives?
That said, clicking the sidenotes button when I'm on the given page does reload that earlier note - but that's not quite the same thing as "If you return to that site later, the same Sidenote comes up", which suggests it's an automatic process (and definitely the idea I found most appealing about this tool).

Android's universal sharing menu is both one of the platform's greatest strengths, and one of its most frustrating facets. There's no option to customise the apps that appear, or the order they appear in.
Haha, that's fair. As a motoring journo myself, I often find there's dozens of points and comparisons I could consider for any given article, but the usual constraints usually kick it over.
I dunno if this is asking too much, but it'd be awesome if you guys included "Using Android or Windows Phone but like the look of this app? Check out these options..." line with posts like these (and vice versa for Android and WP posts).
Oh thank gawd, yet another mecha anime that centres on a bunch of kids. I'd hate for there to be an anime series about adults, that'd be terrible.
Great idea, although I tend to switch off the screen as soon as I've hit 'call' and put the ear to my phone, hah. I hate leaving the screen active for some reason...
Yep, this is why I use DigiCalendar and probably will continue to do so. I love the design of the new Google Calendar, but DigiCalendar just does more of what I need.
Some people simply prefer having an iPhone. It's as much psychological as it is anything else. They want the same phone the majority of their friends have, or they simply prefer the design, or they still feel it's socially superior to have an iPhone and nerdy to have an Android phone, or they feel locked into the…
Thanks Steven, I suspected it might be something like that. You'd think Google+ would go out of its way to be a compelling network for both users AND devs, but nope...
Another app that draws on multiple social networks except for Google+.
"Obviously this doesn't work great if you run music or podcasts or whatever in the background, but if you're sick of background tabs suddenly blaring noise, this keeps it from happening. "
Loved the book, sits proudly on my shelf. Not sure if I'm rapt about this news though...
Neat enough, I suppose. I can't see anything here that would take me away from Nova Prime, but then I've already bought in. If somebody hasn't paid for a pro launcher, I can see how this would be appealing to them.
Eh, seems one has to switch over to ART first. Not sure I can be bothered, haha. Oh well, I can wait until it's all official.
Yeah, same here. I installed the Gmail app (well, the one called 'prebuiltgmail') and it's identical to KitKat.
Hahaha, good save.
