Every new president deserves a chance. Why democrats are so upset is beyond me. Election is over, he won, let’s move on. But no, thousands of college kids are protesting around the country. Just give the guy a year and see what happens. If he fucks up, vote him out next election season, it’s that simple.

This is Jalopnik. In the last few years they’ve decided what this place sorely needed was politics! And we’ve seen their best writers all run for the hills. I still read and comment from time to time, but there are far better sites out there. It’s a shame, really. It used to be my single favorite place on the

- just do so with the abject horror of half the country

I realize that Jalopnik has a team of writers dedicated Tesla/Musk & boring electric cars in general but I gotta tell ya...I’m soooooo sick of it all! I like gas. Cars that burn stuff and smell bad. Sorry fellas but I’m on Team Maserati.

The fact that you even asked this question only proves to me that this site is in its death throws. Jalopnik is a car blog, SEMA is the epicenter of the aftermarket modification market. It is not open to the public, which would make the public’s main source for SEMA information the press. Do you have anyone at SEMA

Here I was expecting a coherent argument as to why we should stop, but then I remembered I was reading Jalopnik ...

I’m a fan of the free market. Inexpensive Oil and gas reserves are - for practical purposes - limitless .

Let’s hope we have reached peak EV.

Nope. He was at BMW and Ford of Europe during the malaise era and had a hand in the launch of the 3-Series, Fiesta XR2, Escort XR3, RS200, etc. He came to Ford US in 1985 after the Malaise Era ended and engineered the rebirth of Ford with the Taurus and Explorer launches.

The car business is the R&D business in that there will never be a time when you stop spending huge truck loads of money. But even if R&D was cut that would only get them to a very small profit. They spent 214 million there. Capex is not a problem either. Their problem still is the overhead of selling cars.

There is no car or truck with a 40k msrp that cost the dealer 30k and sure as shit it cost a hell of a lot more to build than 20k.

From a fiscal sense, getting rid of the dealers is counterproductive. They currently sell the inventory to the dealers and then just offer incentives to helps sell them. If they owned the dealerships, they would own the inventory and that means a lot of money tied up with vehicles that are not in consumers hands.

I’m going to toss some inconvenient facts out there for you.

The “Tesla Experience” is available to anyone at any regular car dealer, just walk up to the car you want and tell them you would like to at least pay the full MSRP if not more, and as a bonus tell them you would be happy to not have the car for a couple of months if necessary.

What? The orange and black dials are awesome you shut your dirty mouth.

Oh look an electric car in a straight line is faster than a petrol car.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Really Jalopnik...

Fuck off, lib.

lol, all Jalopnik needs to do now is write how “muscular” Hillary is.
