Actually, that's a contentious issue. The DB9 was almost complete and the Vantage was in development when Ian Callum left Aston. Callum maintains that the DB9 is his design, and most people say the Vantage — which is usually credited to Fisker — is an amalgam of Callum and Fisker influence.

Don't get me wrong, the RS wheels look nice, but the Escort ones are perfect.

No kidding, strip away all of the overdone "styling" elements and there's a relatively clean looking car underneath.
