The ST has a lower starting price, and by the time you option it up to the same cost as the Toyobaru it is just an amazing car. Outperforms it while still remaining fun, small and practical. The interiors of the two cars can't even be compared.

Like @Cygp2p said, there are cars that are more fun, just as practical and better looking in the same price range. There is nothing wrong with it, it's just the most vanilla choice out a 100 (exaggeration) different flavors.
