I actually enjoyed this as much as seeing real race cars on the ‘Ring. The reason why? Real people in real cars, all the bumps, bruises and warts intact.
1990’s Isuzu Trooper V6’s ran the coolant pipe in between the intake manifold and the top of the head. Resulted in cracked joints, massive coolant leaks. Very seldom I don’t see complaints about this. Best option is to retrofit with the 4 cylinder.

Well, with ground effect being essentially an upside down wing, it’s somewhat ‘in place’, the key is getting enough continual airspeed inverted to make it around the track to the win. . .
