Well, in short two movies, Le Mans and Grand Prix are proper auto racing movies. I was watching the 'Bobby Deerfield' footage and suddenly Bernie Ecclestone popped up like some terrifying leprechaun and I nearly leaped out of my chair in horror. Frightening, repugnant little man. . .

Agree, I have no problem with the styling at all. They did a good job.

Yeah, whoever put this together is clearly an amateur. Here's hoping they never do this type of work again. Truly terribly, inexcusably bad.

Whoever put together this jump frame-reverse frame presentation needs to find another job. This nearly induced epilepsy and certainly made me physically ill, neither of which are easy to do with me. Do not ever do this jump back and forth thing ever again. Doesn't do anything to illustrate one's point, is annoying as

Reports are indicating it wasn't the fault of the rocket engine as many have said and that it might have been pilot error in deploying the 'shuttlecocking' device prematurely at over mach 1.0.

Not really concerned about the age of their air to air ordinance, I'm sure they test it to make sure it works. Due to the minimal to none air to air threat I'm surprised more countries don't just store 'the good stuff' until they actually would feel they would need it.

RWD baddassdom that will never be surpassed!

Yeah, not a fan of hitting a woman but. . . No woman there. Hopefully people who saw this started up a collection for the driver. He should not have been fired for this. Again, don't approve but she really had it coming.

Also, never mess with a bus driver who's driving a Chevy bus. . . logo over the top of the door.

Yeah, never a fan of the design. Too 'stretched out 911' looking.

Well said. Hopefully this sinks in for those who thought otherwise.

Very good write up on why all of this occurred, hopefully those who read this will continue their research and education and spread the knowledge.

Here's more info on Yeltsin's economic team 'The Chicago Boys'

Years ago this car competed in the Rally of China with Didier Auriol driving and it was amazing to watch. There was one section in pouring rain, mud as slick as cow shit and he was racing along a narrow muddy road up in the mountains with a cliff on the left side. The helicopter was above him and the car leaped into

My understanding is when they're 'running silent' the chef has to wear a ball gag. . .

No surprise here, once I read that the Swedes don't have any modern anti-submarine warfare gear it was pretty much 'move along, nothing to see here.'

Worst idea ever. I hate 'ghost cars' getting in the way of my field of vision. . . More of a pain in the ass than helpful. Clearly will not endorse.

I was in my teens, early 20's when all this was going on. No one really seemed to concerned on the racing scene about the lack of sponsorship until the feds made a big deal out of it.

Just a thought, perhaps an article about these new mini subs might be helpful. I've checked all I could find and it wasn't much. It seems more like speculation at this point.

Mig 29's are totally fucking sweet!
