Well, I don't know how suitable Android is for business use in terms of enterprise security (even though this particular handset has some enterprise specific features), but it is a great OS. And it's always nice to have different form factors for different needs.

@ian.g.case: Fair enough, but Android/PCs usually tend to be associated with geeks and iPhone/Macs with hipsters.

Great illustration Sam, but don't most geeks usually gravitate towards non-Apple products? In my opinion, the geek-hipster divide would have been better portrayed if the geek were holding an Android phone.

@John H. Meyer: The all-black look suits the Legend, but I personally cannot stand the HTC 'chin' .

@theamazingpete: I know it was made in jest. Just thought I'd use the opportunity to post a somewhat normal looking picture of the guy for once :)

Why couldn't this news have come out before I recently bought a new copy for my BC PS3 for 11 dollars? Damn you, Ubisoft!

Hurray! My country is finally on the list!

@rcs914: Oh, right. Well, I hope you managed to get one now!

@rcs914: Couldn't you use your alumni email address?

@Ozzie, The Last Hairbender: I'd say text would lose handily in the US, but would trounce email in Asia and possibly Europe too.

@TheJoser: Your wish is Sony's command

@PunkRockMachine: Is it better than the sound on the DVD version? Also, you still have a Laserdisc player? You get mad props for your pursuit of the retro!

@Cintax: Oh OK, I didn't know that. It's just that I hadn't seen any around in the UK, France and a few other European and Asian countries. Guess I can't generalise too much these days!

@Cintax: True, but that strategy could also backfire in terms of carrier marketing a la the Galaxy S.

If it's in line with 2010 smartphone standards (800MHz - 1GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, =3.5" screen, =5 MP camera), this could be a solid contender.

@Martian Yeti: Just thought I'd point it out anyway :)

Jesus, isn't that true for all current phone and decade-old computer comparisons, not just Apple ones?

@Martian Yeti: Fair enough, but that definition could also be valid for "few" as well. In this context, I think "few" is more appropriate.
