Unfortunately, at the time in the mid-70s, Channel 6 featured a cat puppet called Albert who accompanied Tom during his forecasts on the 6:00 pm news. No wonder Tom left. They should've left that damn puppet…

What a shame that Björk's show is being so roundly panned. I'm still going to see it. I like her a lot.

My time as a viewer was mainly 1973-1975, but even during the summers off from school, I'd watch Sesame Street just because some of those skits were damn funny, and the older I got, the more I picked up on. I'd say I was a regular viewer of it (and The Electric Company) from 1973-1981.
