Miata is a worse Boxster, but I couldn’t think of an acrostic that would work for BOXSTER.
Electric Boxster would 1000% be better than the Tesla Roadster
Electric Mazda 3 would 1000% be better than the Tesla Model 3
Electric Accord would 1000% be better than the Tesla Model S
I *might* concede the Transit.
I’m very much enjoying Bradley’s delightful obstinance in the comments section.
According to Consumer Reports this thing does 0-60 in 6.9 seconds and you call that arduous? This really shows how out of touch car reviewers are with reality. That is plenty quick for 99% of people. Other than that, great review as usual
Also, you know, turn on the indicator before you start braking
Also, you know, turn on the indicator before you start braking, merging, turning, or whatever that requires a turn signal. It’s not helpful for you to turn it on mid-maneuver. I already know at that point.
We must have different definitions of beauty
Only thing is I wouldn’t blame Delta directly...they would have contracted the uniforms out to a supplier/manufacturer. They’re the ones who produced a poor product and I can’t imagine Delta would have their own staff to analyze the clothing for these problems or have any reason to. As long as they do what’s necessary…
Honestly, none of this surprises me and the very first thing I thought when clicking on the article was, oh boy, this is gonna be a chemistry issue. As an organic chemist, I am interested to know what dyes they used because most dyes are innocuous, some are suspected carcinogens, some are outright mutagens, and if…
They’ll fix the planes within the next 18 months and the line will start back up as usual. The DC-10 proved that literally nobody cares about the make and model of the airliners they are flying, even with a high body count.
Right now, no one else is either, so you’re good on that front.
If Boeing had built a larger employee parking lot, they could continue 737 Max production.
Didn’t they JUST change to CT and XT for that exact reason? For people so say “I bought a Cadillac XT5", opposed to “I bought an XT5" which means nothing to anyone?
This gets me far more excited than anything Cadillac is doing
They increase contrast. In older lamps there was a gradient falloff that allowed time for the eye to adapt or the driver to look away before the full intensity region was reached. Now it’s 0 to 100% with zero warning.
My car’s headlights are pretty good.
*checks IIHS and sees they are ranked as POOR*
Ah well, nevertheless,
While the IIHS tests DO measure glare, the test is static. In the real world, headlights with a sharp cutoff will go up and down hills and over bumps of various descriptions. This results in the bright side of the cutoff flashing in and out of the view of oncoming drivers. This is far worse than older halogen systems,…
I wonder if they’ll account for glare for DRLs.
