As someone who works in the auto industry, this is terribly mis-informed. First of all, you absolutely can’t make the car perfectly safe for the entire range of human body types. Vehicles aren’t very safe for people over 6'2" either, but the article doesn’t mention that.
Ford will continue to sell each and every GT it cares to build, and for significantly more money. And it actually looks special.
GT350. Row your own. 526 HP. 2+2 seating. Glorious soundtrack. Non-ugly ass-end. 2 sets of clubs in the trunk.
This car looks like a great litmus test for determining whether or not I want to spend time around someone. Not only are the owners the kind of people who are drawn to flashy SRT mopar crapfests, but they’re the kind of idiots willing to spend $76k on one.

Solid millennial take. “Somebody isn’t achieving the goals I, who have no right to have a say in the matter, have set for them. So I’m going to bitch about it while ignoring everything that doesn’t support my opinion.” Ford has put loads of money into Rivian. Just because they haven’t pulled an Elon and rolled out a…
“Forgive me for thinking Ford flat-out doesn’t care about the EV or hybrid car market, but the company’s actions seem to indicate it doesn’t.”
The way that Jeep just kind of flips into the driveway, seemingly normally parked, is pretty amazing, too.
This. Auto manufacturing is a solid middle class job in mexico. Similar to what it used to be in the US. Their wages are lower, but cost of living is much lower so they are actually living well as a manufacturing tech in the mexican auto industry
Toyota doesn’t have any factories in Ohio. Do you mean Honda?
F-150: Familiar. Not groundbreaking, but an evolution of a design constantly being perfected.
