Funny thing is the center stack is off-center and it’s bothering the shit out me.

Cool story, I bet you walked to school uphill both ways too.

Uuuhh...the Legacy 3.6R and Outback 3.6R?

What’s not to understand? It is the mid-sized two row crossover. Think Lexus RX350, Jeep Grand Cherokee, BMW X5. They literally sell boat loads of them. They are the original crossover. The smaller Escape, Lexus NX, Jeep Compass and BMW X3's came along later for people who either didn’t want to pay for a bigger

2010 Ford Edge owner here. The Edge and the Escape are miles apart. My girlfriend’s mother has a 2015 Escape, so I have experience with both.

The Edge is not only larger than the Escape, but much more refined. That’s the big thing you’re paying for when you step up to the CD platform from the C (Focus) platform the Escape is based off of. It’s nice for those that don’t need the 3 row size or added cost of the Explorer.

My normal car, a 2011 Saab 9-5. Bought it 3 years ago to replace my 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero convertible that made 320 hp and 430 pounds of torque. Yay turbo!

I don’t get how that’s a stereotype now. Because some parents choose to let their kids dress like they feel dresses are not conformed to a specific gender? And because of that we all have to walk on eggshells and watch what we say? As long as its not hurtfully directed towards the child this isn’t a big deal.

Especially if that random braking happened on slick surfaces.

My ‘17 Giulia has a setting to change sensitivity of the emergency braking. I’ve kept it at maximum, and sometimes get an alert tone (not actual braking) when a vehicle in front of me turns suddenly, but that’s fairly rare.

4th Gear: Anyone here have personal experience with the automatic braking systems? How often do you get a “false alarm” where it slams on the brakes for no reason?

It’s something I’m concerned about when car shopping in the future... I have a vehicle now that gives me a warning to brake, but doesn’t do the braking for

There’s your issue right there!

Problem is, they engineer cars for people who ARENT wearing seatbelt. So our safety systems are less safe than they could be if everyone was belting up.

i’m not totally opposed to those that choose to not wear their seatbelt. some people just want a darwin award. just don’t be doing it in my car.

You have a small penis.

Don’t forget the ice at the wand-wash place, it’s downright dangerous in the winter.

I often use the full contact car wash during winter and never had any issues. It may not be the best for the paint but it is still better than leaving the winter dirt on it.

It’s easy to say “Wash it by hand” when you live in a climate that is warm year round. I’m not going out and physically washing my car when it’s cold out.

Please point me to all the $300/mo leases on $35K cars with $0 down payment.
