I think the ugliness is a communicable disease because it has started infecting the Toyotas as well.

I agree on this for the most part. Not on the wipers though, I went though 2 or 3 sets of cheap wipers before finally just buying some Bosch wipers that actually work and last about a year (I could get about a month out of the cheap ones).

“single wing monoblade Bosch makes.”

idk, I love the RainX washer fluid...

Precisely. This comment makes me sound either like I’m kidding or I’m old, of which I’m neither. I just cannot stand when my cup is in the way of the shifter, armrest, etc. Fuck cup holder designers that don’t test placement for at least 6-9 months before releasing the car.

My favorite thing is when they show an interest in a car. It can be nostalgia, status, or even color. But knowing they had genuine interest in something car related for a moment lets me have a moment to expand what they know if only a tiny amount.

Nine! Nine people fleeing the scene! Ah Ah Ah!

3rd Gear: You think a car salesman will be able to explain any of the technology in a new car? I generally know more about the features than they do when I’m on a test drive.

If you have owned nothing but Chrysler products than you don’t really have a basis for comparison.

Neutral: My coworker owns an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, which means he drives a FIAT 500L half the time. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Its true automakers are sort of just assemblers of Tier 1 supplier parts, but each OEM has separate requirements the suppliers must meet with their parts. There are many ways to skin the cat.

FCA Head of Quality.

Most People, as it turns out, don’t consider quality. thats why FCA is still alive. They look cool, and they’re cheap. Personal Image is all people care about so its no surprise the brand appeals to todays widespread Vanity.

“How much does quality matter to you?”

Third gear: if we’re going to have to rely on dealerships to make autonomous tech work, we’re going to be driving ourselves around for a very long time. The average car dealer somehow always knows less about the cars they are selling than the person who’s in there to buy one.

FCA is having too much fun ripping off people who don’t care enough about quality and just pay attention to horsepower and 96 month loan options.

Not to be that guy, but any time I see stopped traffic on the highway or come to a complete stop, I use my hazards and keep my eyes glued to the rear view mirror until a car is actively slowing down behind me and comes to a complete stop with me.

He’s not nuts, he’s Elon Musk, his success thrives on his insanity.

It’s all about Aerofrynamics

I personally don’t care for the styling of the Type R. But as a car guy, I feel for this owner, I could only imagine the heartbreak of his brand new car being wrecked because someone was not paying attention to their surroundings (which as a driver is kinda important). I hope he finds another one and gets to enjoy it
