“their official black simpleton”

Can we stop refering to her as Clueless star Stacey Dash and just refer to her as Clueless Stacey Dash from now on.

Figures. They don’t need her anymore. No black president, no need to have a black person who doesn’t like him on the payroll to be “fair and balanced.”

Meanwhile, Kellyanne Conway is busy calling Spicer’s press conference lies “alternative facts”.

“Write a note to yourself about what you would never do. And when you come to the line, don’t cross it.”

They had to wait for someone to leak it.

Thank you for this. It needed to be here.

Now playing

I’ve always believed the internet was invented for the obsessive collection and sharing of KLF artifacts. Right now there are heroes on Youtube digitizing old Bill Drummond tv appearances.

I’m okay with Barb, but I’m just glad someone is on the same train as me on Stranger Things. It’s okay. The children are okay, but definitely not the best writing and pacing, and not a masterpiece within a mile. It does look pretty cool though.

For me, the character of Nancy was boring (improving only slightly by the end of the first season) - Barb ruled. There was an unforced wryness to her that I don’t see represented in film and TV very often.

LMAO Ann! (Bland, Plant, ect....I loved how he couldn’t remember her name)

Thank you for the reply, but I wasn’t clear in my post, which was another Arrested Development reference. (I profess to knowing nothing about Stranger Things.)

When I finished the show, one of the first things I said to my sister was “Omg why doesn’t anyone care about Barb???” hahaha. She was completely, hilariously ignored and brushed aside. Winona Ryder and and the whole rest of the cast is totally losing their shit over Mike being missing, and Barb is barely registering

I didn’t love Barb, per se, but her look was very ME circa 8th grade. Huge grandma glasses? Check. Short, awkward, reddish hair? Check. Afraid of popular kids and getting in trouble? Check Check Check. Perhaps that’s why she got so much attention- so many of us dorks identified with her.

“Same for The English Patient. I kept wondering when the hell the movie would be over.”

Very this.
