If nothing else, kick it down to Easy and get the story in. If you’re one of those that doesn’t admire storytelling in video games (I know some of these monsters) you can safely move on and know it’s not for you.

We will not get a PS5 announcement at E3 next year so prepare your shocked face. This has been well established and vetted. At best we’ll start hearing about leaks a la the Nintendo NX saga a year from now but even that will be quite premature.

I was very uninterested in this, but after seeing the deep dive today I’ve been slingshotted into the mega-hype realm. I’m all over this one.

Didn’t the guy at the beginning say “Stay until the end for a special announcement?” Was the special announcement that Kingdom Hearts 3 is still a thing? That was awful, the two new games are intriguing but nothing like Bethesda’s with one excitement after another.

Good gravy this looks amazing. Based on that, I can only assume this is going to get pushed to the PS5/Xbox 2 X2 era launch window.

Yeah kind of an impressive call. I forgot they ever acquired the license til Jason mentioned it on Splitscreen.

Days Gone is featured on the cover of Game Informer this month. It’s also on track for a Feb 2019 release. It’s a far cry from vaporware my friend, a bad example to use. You just missed a few recent beats is all.

This seems like a perfectly appropriate format for a C&C game, provided they don’t fuck it up with predatory microtransactions. Oh, they’re gonna fuck it up with predatory microtransactions aren’t they?

How does this otherwise neat game get released with such crappy combat? Do the devs just have weird taste and think it’s fun or did they run out of money and expertise to make combat satisfying? Maybe Schreier can dig into this?

This has been said in every comment section of every Destiny expansion ever.

I mean... if this is the exclusive thing that Xbox owners are getting mad about with games like God Of War, Horizon Zero Dawn. Uncharted 4 and on and on... this just feels like more of a pain Xbox-only owners are used to by now.

My PS4 downloads patches in sleep mode for any game I’ve played in the past 6 months or so. Not sure what the actual time cutoff is but it does a lot of games I haven’t touched in a while. So what you’re asking for already exists. Win!

As I recall there weren’t nearly enough of the memory remixing segments. It was the most inventive mechanic and you did it like 3 or 4 times over the whole campaign.

Well we know we can skip the keychain pre-order bonus. Who buys this junk?

I played through the campaign twice within a year or so of release and loved it. Never felt much for 4 and haven’t played Primal or 5. I’d say it’s worth a play for sure, you’ll know within 2 hours of playtime if it’s for you or not.

That opening paragraph felt like it was written just for me. I get so confused how people construct forts so effortlessly while I’m flopping around like a fish out of water. I suck at this game is what I’m saying.

Yeah I’m cool with that. Where possible, sure, have at it, though I’m not sure it’s going to pay off until tomorrow morning. My real non-joking point is that no one is losing a lot of productivity over this publicity stunt that’s been done before.

Don’t worry, it only wastes people’s time that have the time to waste. No attorneys are late for their big trial because they’re watching the bobblehead. No doctors are only half paying attention to their surgical procedure for fear of missing something on the Twitch feed. This is 140,000 unemployable oafs taking

The last line of the article states that Schreier is hearing its a new title with a new direction, not a remaster. With his considerable reach, Schreier is rarely wrong but maybe Anniversary will be announced at E3.

Now that’s just sad.
