Pretty much like how the 3DS is soo doomed and will go the way of the Virtual Boy.

Remake, port, new game or not, the 3DS have now a strong line-up worthy to invest money (and cheap too if you manage to get on sale at 140$ during the holiday).

Yes I agree removing a default feature that is available on all game is a real bummer and for whatever good reason the company said, it will not satisfy a lot of players.

Now that is a great argument as to why they didn't put it in. Simply saying "immersion" is vague but you nail spot on as to why they don't want to put communication in. I simply didn't think about this reason.

Even if it bothers peoples, doesn't mean the game is not for them.

I disagree that because both been equal, advantage have to be remove. In fact, developper usually goes to the strenght of each console. PS3 have larger space on bluray so cutscene would be nicer. Removing a giving option is just not good but oh well.

It is a question of lack of time too. We grow old and playing long burst of continuous non stop play of SF64 back then is unreasonable nowaday. I can't play non stop for several weeks trying to get the best highest score on each different route.

Amen!

There is no rule that said local multiplayer means we have online multilayers and the opposite is especially true.

I doubt OoT was merely a tech demo. The game is much more bigger to recode everything in brand new 3D. So much more work was required for that remake than SF64 3D. Even the music have to be recorded to sound exactly like the original (I remember reading the Iwata ask interview, Koji Kondo want the music to sound 100%

Agree.

OMG PSO!!! I played 500 hours that summer with my brother (400 hours) and another friend (300hours) in offline mode! (It was after I finish Wind Waker, was looking for another RPG/Adventure game).

This is the type of game, fans of shoot them up like me love to replay and replay...to get that ever higher score! Just zapping them enemy spaceship/whatever machinery is always satisfying. Trigger happy.

Ditto...that so lame really. I played to death back on N64 just trying to beat my highest score back then (1444 I think). I simply love the game and know it by hearts. I later found out some pretty darn good players submitted their score and the highest was 1800+ and I was like "holy cow" how did they do this??? I

For other, they prefer a full fledge functional 1 player mode than tack on half-baked online functionality.

There is no Move support for the PS3 versions.

Graphics shouldn't be the end of all. Gameplay is king my friend. It only matters the most if you are a graphic whore junkies.

In this case, some would even prefer the blurrier GC/Wii original due to the texture quality.

Agree, after playing the Wii version for 50 hours and finishing it 4 times (for a total of 6 times including the GC version), getting back to a regular controller back then was just....weird! @_@ Aiming with the Wiimote was just pure bliss!

It is not even a remake btw, it an HD version of the original game. Everything is clearer but it remain the same exact game as the classic 2005 games.
