Yes!!! They confirmed it is coming and since the book represent the magic book to play the game, they will have to translate it. It will take time and it will come out later but hey, all good! And as for the cost of the game due to the book? I have no problem getting it regardless of the price of the games anyway.

If anything from some hardcore MH friends I know who log a tons of hours into the MHTri (200+hours), the update port and sequel coming to the 3DS is an incentive to play them.

Exactly, Japan get the original MGS games untouched and not in HD. Peacewalker HD is sold separately. International versions include Peace Walker HD instead.

Ports is all the rage man. Especially HD port of great games, will buy them anytime.

Why would it saddens your soul exactly? Adding 16x9 support and removing jagging and looking great on an HDTV is a big plus for a 3D game.

I have no problem replaying old JRPG on SNES and PS1 since I grew up from there. I will give FF7 a spin to relive the introduction. Since right now it happen that I am playing 32 bit era games, namely RPG that I never happened to play back then so bought a few of them.

Answer: YES. I play the game twice in a span of 1 year back then and would gladly replay it again! I am sure a lot of people will do it all over again. Especially if the last time they play it was back in the end of the 90's.

It sold more than 500k in Japan as of February 2011. Wasn't able to find any other detail. I wonder why they won't be releasing it here, this type of game on portable would be easier to sell to the public than the PS3 version due to low sales for this type of game due to its artistic anime style.
