Pretty much all I'm getting from this article and the comments is that concern trolling someone's body/weight is totally fine as long as everyone agrees that she Much. Too. Thin. 'Kay.

FIVE months? That is jaw-droppingly unhealthy. Please tell me there was a gap between five months of filming and whenever they got her final weight. Otherwise, this show is encouraging life-threatening weight loss.

I hate that people are body shaming her, because this show glorifies "getting healthy" and "losing weight", but then this poor girl does what everyone on earth wants her to do and she gets railed. I'll admit, her weight loss is pretty shocking. 60% of her body weight? Wow. It's just — there is so much to say, but I

this is so cool. but what is wrong with us? why do we demand that people shit together? why cant all toilets be unisex and single person use? i hate using public restrooms! why is money so important that we subject our selves to having to share space with others in public when the need comes unexpectedly?

Why not just make all bathrooms unisex? Then everyone can experience the joy of waiting for 90% of a Broadway intermission to pee. :D

Hopefully the confusion stemming from the fact that her last name is Maines and she lives in Maine is going to be the worst thing that follows her from now on.

I also started bawling when I read that paragraph. I've been waiting for Jezebel to report on this victory!

In tears, he called his wife, who texted their daughter, Nicole. She was in a school assembly, and immediately ran to the front of the room to announce the victory. "The whole school got up and cheered," he recounted.

But that all changed after a male student followed her into the girls' bathroom on multiple occasions, charging that if she had the right to be in there, so did he.

That Daily Beast article was so slut-shamey and victim-blamey that any relevant or important information it might have included is lost on me. I had no opinion before (mostly because I, as a random person who has no insider information, don't really have a right to weigh in and I don't get why everyone thinks they do)

DON'T WORRY WHITE PEOPLE!

I read a very interesting study that tied lived experiences of racism to be directly correlated to lower birth weight of babies. They conducted this huge study trying to see what African American women were having so many more low-weight and premature babies. They found that the kind of hormones released from

I hate to admit it, but the most offensive part of that video is the fucking camera-work. Who taped that? One of those girl's little brother that's in high school and hasn't learned how to hold his hands still or that the zoom isn't actually all that special? It made me dizzy just watching it. I thought that awful

Oh, har har. Is it so weird to want to be inclusive? As others have pointed out, a lot of people use GSM: gender and sexual minorities. But it hasn't caught on very widely yet.

You are proof of what a great orator and a truly amazing message can accomplish. Also, welcome to the fold. It's warm and we have cookies.

While I appreciate hearing the other side of each issue, I don't think this is an unbiased author. And the article quite quickly degenerated into slut-shaming Mia Farrow.

It also bears mentioning that the judge reamed the investigation team for shoddy work and for an obvious bias to Woody. He didn't have enough evidence to convict. It's not the same thing as innocence. He also took steps to keep woody away from the children, why would he do that if he believe woody was innocent?http://w

We've heard it. Fuck this guy.
