Davie504 did a funky slap base cover that is pretty awesome.

Destiny 1 was so good, up through the second expansion. It’s some of the most fun I’ve ever had in multiplayer with friends.
I enjoyed Destiny 1, but had been hesitant to jump into Destiny 2 because of the hardware requirements. With this change, I’m uncertain that I ever will. Destiny’s grind was always offputting to me, but I generally enjoyed it’s narrative. To see so much of it just... go away... well, it’s not a great look. …
That’s the dumbest thing I’ve read in a long time. Thanks for that. Fact remains that you need Atmos specific speakers to use Atmos features. PS5 can do it on any speaker. It’s not about not wanting to pay their fees, it’s about providing it for all users regardless of their hardware.
I strongly recommend watching Cerny’s overview of the PS5's features. It’s a good watch!
While inflation does happen, wages have been abominably stagnant in the past 14 years in many, many countries.
I think Souls-like has essentially lost all meaning, but can we at least agree the combat in this game is not remotely souls-like? Big group fights and AoE’s, rapid distance closing moves, brief transformations into a “super power” mode, etc.
This is no fault of the author, so my apologies, but ads on this site are increasingly making articles on Kotaku extremely difficult to read on mobile. I’m reaching a tipping point.
The military is a branch of the government, and is therefore subject to the first amendment. So yes, they’re not allowed to silence citizens. It’s part of the very constitution they’re sworn to protect. You call it bullying, but it is an actual right to be able to speak out and critique our government. It’s enshrined…
Easy answer for you. Yes, they literally “have” to allow citizens to speak lest they violate the First Amendment:
I really try not to swear but I have to say something. F*** this president, f*** his followers, and f*** those who either stay neutral or defend their actions.
They are heinous and prosecuted as such.
If you want to sell your apps on the Windows Store, Microsoft absolutely takes a cut and has restrictions on things like payment methods.
Yeah, pretty much all of the legal scholarship on the topic I’ve read has pretty clearly come down on the side of “it’s totally within Apple’s rights to do this, and isn’t anti-competitive (in the legal sense) at all.”
Maybe not safety in terms of Epic, but safety in terms of any random developer putting direct purchases in their apps and funnels those charges through shady eastern European merchants with no accountability. There can’t be two sets of rules, one for ‘trustworthy’ devs and one for ‘untrustworthy’ devs so to speak. We…
This is a fascinating one-two punch with the Microsoft news. Timing seems deliberate, especially since the Justice Dept is currently investigating Apple Store practices. My guess is that they’re trying to angle for an anti-trust argument and use that pressure to get concessions. And, I mean, are they exactly wrong?…
It’s easy to hate on Apple’s walled garden but I honestly don’t see any problem with this
Make no mistake, this will be disastrous for an already messy launch. They just gifted Sony holiday 2020.
I’m not necessarily saying they need to just drop it forever, but after Reach MS should have let it hibernate for a while, drop Chief completely, cultivate a bunch of new ideas, take pitches from other teams, and really try and reinvent what Halo could be going forward instead of just trying to recreate what Bungie…
Listen, I don’t want to come off as an asshole here. There’s no doubt in my mind that there are a ton of wonderful, immensely talented people at 343and I wish them nothing but the absolute best...but there’s no real nice way of saying this, so I’ll just say it...
343 was a mistake and MS should have let Halo go after…
