You seem to think, like a lot of people do, that objectification is some kind of blanket term for whenever a woman is depicted sexually in a work of fiction by a man. It is not. Objectification has some very specific things that need to be in place in order for it to qualify as such.
It’s not moving the goal posts or cherry picking, it’s applying context.
You always need to consider the cards that have been dealt to both men and women, how gender roles have shaped social views, and how leadership - in work, family and politics - has overwhelmingly been male through the years.
