Credit cards cover repairs to the rental car but typically not injury or liability. In most states, Credit Card companies cannot legally offer liability. Car insurance does cover those areas but make sure you have car insurance and it covers injury/liability before you deny rental insurance.

I don’t understand why they don’t do this. Blizzcon and other huge expo’s have non-transferable tickets.

It’s much easier parking too - some of the places I park have centralized pay stations that want either the license plate or last 6 of VIN and the vanity plate makes dealing with these things a snap, especially for the wife who has more important things to memorize than a plate number
