I have a 5-year old Samsung French door, and so far that problem has cost me $300 and it’s happening again (after 6 months). And Samsung refuses to stand behind what is clearly a design flaw.

From a warranty viewpoint, they may be trying to avoid a lemon law situation as well. After the third repair attempt for the same concern he could explore the option of a lemon law buyback. It would seem extreme, but people have tried for minor issues, and succeeded.

Or just use a  LensBaby. They’ve even got a model for mobile phone cameras. Not exactly a T&S, but pretty much what’s going on here.

Only time there is an appeal for places is when they are cooked, or they are doing something more than just sending out a plate of oysters. If we are talking seafood tower, for example, then they would be fine since it is part of a platter.

I have a “fuzzy logic” Zojirushi. I use it almost every day. It makes perfect sushi rice. It also makes great oatmeal, polenta, etc. You will pry it from my cold, dead fingers.
