Depends on when they started. The ones that converted after 30 are the worst! They question everything if there is any byproducts that might not be vegan. We know a few vegan who took us to some pretty good place that serves alternative meat and dishes. Nice and appreciate when we have vegan options when we invite…

the same reason I saw in Downtown LA protesters in-front of a poultry shop. They going after mom and pop store because less resistance from the shop, and less travel time necessary. Those people feel good destroying the livelihood of people who are just easier targets.

To be honest this is actually a good thing... my wife had distant relatives that lives in China, when we visited. We had to go to their local police department within 24 hours to log that we are here. We had to be accompanied with the host and provide all this information. Takes about 10 mins. Waiting for them to open…

Uber certainly did not want to see the family drag this into court so they settled. The family also didn’t want to drag this into court because they probably let that woman go homeless and only appeared when they wanted to collect on her death. Sizable amount I think but Uber most likely low balled them as well…
