Having watched the video - the house was targeted because this guy was still shooting when the cops arrived. The scary part is he had just asked his wife if she wanted to do more shooting with him and she said she’d just stay inside. Had she and their child also gone out again they could all have been shot.

I seem to recall reading that Bungie actually stated they were removing old content because they were updating the engine for new content and didn’t have the resources to update the old stuff. I don’t remember who said that, though.

I’ve said this before about Destiny, and I’ll say it again: even as someone who enjoys the game, I think the worst thing Destiny (and the Destiny fanbase) does is encourage the notion that players have to engage really, really seriously with the grind in order to have fun with Destiny.
