And in the time it would take to draw the baton and close the distance the girl in pink could have been stabbed.  It’s amazing how many people seem to think the life of the assailant is worth more than the life of her potential victim.

I think that lots of cops are racist assholes.  I also think that in this case the possibly racist asshole was justified in shooting that girl.

Aside from some nice PR, what’s really to be gained by saying anything against the law now? The time for corporations to speak up was before the Georgia legislature voted on the bill, and none of them did. Why not pressure them to stop donating money to Republican candidates instead? This ain’t no George Floyd part 2. Your narrative weirdly leaves out the fact that the girl who was shot was actively trying to stab two other girls with a kitchen knife - after the cop shows up!

Poor Scotty... Asthma + covid is a bad combination. I’m not saying that’s what happened, but it is a possibility.
