IIRC, The Trial was purposefully stretched out to meet the demands of Crisis. Hence, it’s seemingly interminable (and infuriating) length.

A couple of nits to pick with Stein’s funeral:

No love for the Dayton Labs callout? Steve Dalton, adoptive father of Beast Boy (Changeling) and a superhero in his own right as Mento.

Nazis rule on Earth-X because it’s an homage to the (pre-Crisis) comics where Nazis won WWII on Earth-X giving rise to The Freedom Fighters (which included The Ray). It’s Berlanti giving diehard fan service.
