Makes no sense for police.
Makes no sense for police.
If you’re that cynical, I suggest you watch nothing at all.
It’s a dick move aimed at demeaning/deligitimizing the dozen or so other state universities in Ohio.
That interview was absolutely incredible television. He got a major public figure to unpack very personal thoughts about an incredible tragedy. Those weren’t softballs.
Technically, he’s biracial, so the NYPD was halfway there already.

This is the Post, so yeah. But the study was the AP’s. Not perfect, but a lot more diverse than “almost entirely white.”
Unless your reference was only to that one picture, above. To which I’d probably say something about sample size.
It’s hard to understand all of those charges when viewed out of context (which is why the creditor’s counsel did just that). Like, did he really spend $1,000 in a month at a dry cleaner, or did he finally settle up a year’s worth of bills? (Or did the dry cleaner clean two giant floor rugs that month?)
From Price’s post-game interview, it sounds like Welke denied Votto time, just to be a prick. Nice way to risk injury to one of the game’s best players, champ.
Seems pretty clear that Welke baited him. #umpshow
“when a defensive player hears Cover 2 or Nickel, they know what it should look like”
Shouldn’t a guy who’s played QB on all these same teams have at least that level of knowledge?
It’s not a great poem, is what I’m saying.
Question: You want Deadspin to stop covering football injuries? Or you just want to bitch about how things are more pussified these days, and there hasn’t been a good participation trophy story in a while?
Of course. It’s just that 7,000 overwrought words about Star Wars toys looks a little worse than normal right now.
Was that the commonly-recognized method of killing a cat? A board with a nail in it?
Start with car camping. That way, you can pack every possible thing you think you’d like, but still get a good feel for how the equipment works, whether you actually enjoy things, etc. Plus you’ll have such small luxuries as ice, a camp chair, and a campfire (trailside sites rarely allow wood gathering). Or skip that…
This was well-handled, guys.
I honestly have no idea what that post means, if it doesn’t mean that we need to go to war against Islam, even though most Muslims are blameless.
But that reading of the post makes it utterly meaningless. “Gee, I’m just comparing these two things. Yeah, the first one justified a war where 80 million people died, but I’m not saying anything about the second one. I’m just saying.”
That’s like saying the bullet didn’t kill you, the bullet hole did.
As much as he claims to hate them, Curt Schilling is a bully. He loves to imagine himself among the downtrodden, but that’s remarkably self-delusional. He’s always been an incredible athlete, and loud-mouthed in a culture that rewards it. Add on wealth and fame.
