when I bought my wrangler i paid for a lifetime bumper to bumper and it has paid for itself about 3x by now. just this week oil pressure sensor replacement would have been over $800. but with the bumper to bumper extended waranty only $100.

it’s similar to Tesla where they are pumping money into worldwide expansion and undercutting the prices for rides until they get an amazon like level of marketshare where they can jack up rates with minimal competition.
Can anyone explain to me how Uber and Lyft lose so much money? I know that they subsidize some of the cost of the rides, but they don’t have to pay drivers’ expenses like health care and vehicle maintenance is paid for by the driver.
