The whole “medically necessary” thing really riles conservatives, who declare it’s completely unnecessary even though the DoD has done this before and in fact requires a doctor to declare it medically necessary.

I stared at this image for minutes, agog at the perfection. And I don’t even like Porsches.

It is, that is the Singer way.

Yes, it depends on which parts are replaced. But not like parts of the engine like pistons. Because FIA seals them so that the internals can’t be replaced, the teams actually are forced to replace the entire ICE, gear box, MGU-K or MGU-H, etc. So each of those parts carry a specific penalty for replacement. From FIA

Yeah, this has probably happened more than you think. The onus is on the civilian to assume the undercover / off-duty cop is a cop, even if they don’t identify themselves before attacking you.

I imagine it went something like this:

A trigger-happy cop off the street is honestly never a bad thing.

Ah yes, the old “Schrodinger’s Cop” problem.

The “good guy with a gun” argument assumes one of the gunmen will be dark skinned. That’s the bad guy.

This is one of many qualms I have about the whole “good guy with a gun” argument. Even in an active shooter situation, and setting aside the concerns about missing the person you’re trying to stop and hitting a bystander, it’s not obvious to me in the chaos that you’re guaranteed to be aiming at the right person.

Simple: When Cop says get on the ground, you do what the Cop says. Even if you’re a Cop. And maybe the other Cop won’t shoot you.

Why do I keep doing this to myself?

And you can thank ole Rappin’ Ronnie Raygun for that one!
