Well To be fair a lot of chareacters have pretty different personalities then original backstories. That’s sort of the part of IDW being it’s own continuity that can pull from lots of diffeent sources.

The problem with Star Saber was that it came out of nowhere. So much of that universe is lovingly crafted across entire arcs. He needed a spotlight issue at the least before that came along.

Well it’s taken a lot of quality writers/creators to get the fandom where it could be for ‘adult’ content. In the sense that they did take a children’s cartoon (or at least meant for kids) and have evolved it into what can be enjoyed at all ages now.

Ughhhh 10-15 means I’m definetley farther back then I was. It’s odd I dropped off of watching anime a few years back but kept up regularly with my manga (list that slowly has been dwindling) and now I’m watching anime again but am months behind on my manga.

Hmmm I like the breakdown of that, as you describe it I definetley see the sense sales wise. I still think that’s going to rub buyers the wrong way, people will re-evaluate how much they “Need” something.
