I don’t really care if we entered into some kind of contract. If I was living with a little robot with Pintsize’s behaviour I’d have shut that shit down a long time ago.

If it’s any consolation, Benny’s Spaceship in Lego Dimensions has Space Police and Ice Planet skins.
It appears in this video!
On one hand, I think we’re reading way too much into this. Mario and his universe doesn’t exist for the purpose of logic or storytelling. It exists to bundle together a bunch of interesting mechanics in a colourful little package for us to play with.
Questionable Content is the comic equivalent of a beloved old jumper with some holes in it. It hasn’t necessarily been structurally sound for years but you still keep it because of some strong- if misplaced- sense of affection.
This is wonderful news. I check in on a few webcomics pretty regularly- I guess it’s kind of become the new newspaper cartoon thanks to the prolific output of some creators. JL8 is charming as heck, but I also love Wondermark, Maximumble, Muddlers Beat and Questionable Content to name a few. I’m very pleased to see…
I wonder if he’s a relative of the Boy with an Arse for a Face.
But wasn’t the whole point that the Ice Warriors won that particular conflict? The Waters of Mars gets kicked off when it turns out the base received the wrong filters for their filtration system.
Is that the official art?
This is just marshmallow, right?
In this case, I think it’s a way of making them familiar and relatable, but still otherworldly. That said, I would love some more variety in our alien designs. When you go back and watch shows like Star Trek the alien designs are laughable. Certain species like the Ferengi and 8472 make some effort, but for every…
And Home Alone already did most of It’s a Wonderful Life. We’ve had hundreds of films about the likes of Christmas and Halloween. We can survive two films about the Day of the Dead in close proximity.
Somewhere, P.L. Travers is rolling in her grave.
I already want to read this. I love looking back at old technology, and making a comic about it is perfect.
That is immediately more interesting to me than whatever Tom Cruise is doing in this.
It’s true the internet contains staggering amounts of information, but if you don’t know what you’re looking for or how to use it you’ll very easily find info that’s biased, inaccurate or just plain wrong... and I’d be willing to bet that kind of crap is the majority of the web’s content rather than the minority. It’s…
Well, I’ll probably wait for some of the reviews before I decide either way. It’s a first world problem but I can’t be bothered investing the time and effort into anticipating a show that’s pretty naff nowadays.
What does anybody get out of taking over a country or a planet? Absolute dominance of and control over a populace, protection from harm or criticism, or dissenting voices, a chance to live in luxury and act with impunity, see all your little power fantasies brought to life...
Unless Chris Chibnall goes on to do something spectacular with his run I feel like this year’s Christmas special will be my last Doctor Who episode. At this point it’s little more than some great characters and performances wrapped in pretentious dialogue and tired, clunky storytelling. And I get that’s always been…
Tonally, it’s pretty out of whack by Doctor Who’s standards, and if I’m honest I can’t recall really liking any of the characters apart from Matteusz. Add in a hilariously flimsy premise and I’m not that surprised it’s not returning... but I would do terrible things for a Weeping Angel invasion on a large scale.
