To play devil’s advocate, I can understand why Disney did it. The Twilight Zone might be an iconic piece of American television, and I can’t wait to visit Disneyland Paris’ version. But compared to the Marvel movies it might as well be Angela Anaconda for all the kudos it carries. How many people (many of which will

I’m pretty sure both Keaton and the director dismissed any Batman connections, but... yeah, it’s totally a weird Batman sequel whether they like it or not. Still, between this and Spider-Man I guess you say Michael Keaton is having a comeback, which I am all for.

Never going to be able to separate that film from Harvey Birdman in my mind.

If I’m honest, I think his recruiting Spider-Man for Civil War was a dick move. He’s bringing a teenage boy into a fight he probably doesn’t know that much about and guilt-tripping him into helping by giving him a fancy suit. Granted, the Accords are in the news, but we’re never given the impression that Peter’s come

To be fair, we did also get Rabbids Go Home, which was a surprisingly good platform game.

Algebraic!

Yes, but it was also a game that we remember for its sweeping vistas and haunting atmosphere, rather than its nuanced platforming. I mean, that element of the game was certainly solid, if a bit floaty at times, but the standout moment for me is sliding down that sandy slope as the sun sets through the columns.

I remember playing the demo a few times. It’s one weirdass game; a mix of platforming, slightly janky combat and the worst lip-syncing I’ve ever encountered. I definitely think it’s something that succeeds more on the strength of its visuals than its gameplay, but then it’s been a while since I actually played it...

I’ll be honest; I’m still processing the fact that the Wii U (despite its unpopularity) got over 700 games.

Now playing

Rush Hour 2 has my favourite Jeremy Piven moment.

I never said Hell Bent was about the reveal of Gallifrey, though. We know Gallifrey’s back in play, and have done for ages. My point was that the reveal of the hybrid was crap; it floated a bunch of different options before settling on the Doctor-and-Clara-as-hybrid idea, which felt like a copout. The idea of the

I actually thought the big reveal of the Veritas’ nature was thoroughly satisfying. But does it mean there’s no Veritas equivalent in the real world? I found that element a bit confusing.

I’d wager we’ll look back on his tenure as kind of a mixed bag. Nobody’s denying he’s got some great ideas- some brilliant ideas- but I think he was at his best when he didn’t have to have them shoulder an entire season at a time. The longer he has to stretch out his ideas, the weaker the payoff becomes. The Bells of

No, but neither did they stay consistently good. Episodes like The Eleventh Hour and A Christmas Carol are probably some of my favourite Who episodes, but others like The Beast Below were just overstuffed and the series finales have gotten more and more tedious. Hell Bent was probably one of the biggest

Well, that’s where he started out, isn’t he? Steven Moffat gave us some of the best- if not the best- episodes in the first 4 seasons. Blink is still amazing even now, and the later Angel appearances haven’t really topped it in my book. It’s just a shame that when he writes longer seasons he gets tangled up in

But Venice doesn’t have roads! Dorian Gray’s picture doesn’t work like that!

You’re doing the Lord’s work.

The revelation was that we were going to learn what the Doctor’s real name was... only for ‘The Name of the Doctor’ to be about the War Doctor and how his whole fight-in-the-war stance was against the Doctor’s ethos.

My brother picked one up to play OoT 3D. Even if it looks a little odd, I like the form factor of it. However, I kind of feel all the caveats make it a tough sell unless you aren’t bothered about many of the 3DS’ features.
