Can we say for sure that there aren’t other outfits like this in the game? If we’re being fair, there’s a ripped, shirtless guy in that Youtube video up there. It’s not hard to see how that could be construed as fan service, if unintentionally so.

If this is accurate, I think the outfit is probably one of those things that just doesn’t translate very well overseas. Although I do think there are characters like Ayla in Chrono Trigger that better straddle the line between sex appeal and taste.
