Here in Ontario that motorcycle’s pass would be entirely legal. Here a solid yellow/double yellow is a not recommended passing zone, but doesn’t legally mean that you can’t pass.

The guy was going 20 mph below the speed limit, passing him isn’t driving like a tool.

This sucks. I would love riding motorcycles, but knowing how easy it is for some douche like this to take you out is what sadly keeps me from doing it.

Sure looks like attempted murder to me. Hard for me to understand how any reasonable person would not expect that hitting a motorcycle intentionally at highway speed would not have a decent chance of resulting in grave injury or death.
