The Rocketeer is one of those movies where if you ever mention it, I start hankering to watch it, so thanks AV Club!

The popularity of the Minions will never make any sense to me, and as for the memes…they don't talk in those movies and they're stupid, why are they associated with these platitudes??

It's exciting to see new people experience the horror of Corden for the first time.

The Banjo-Kazooie games hold up great and I'll fight* anyone who says otherwise.

Al Jean was part of the show when it was actually good and showrunner with Mike Reiss when it was at its very best. Now he's been showrunner and apologist of rubbish Simpsons for over 10 years. Perhaps one day he will rediscover the humanity within, and throw the show down the shaft, Vader-style.

I don't have a horse in the race of what happens to the Constantine tv show, but I do feel sympathy when I see actors and such desperately tweeting to basically save their and other people's steady jobs.

No Angie, no peace

I can't wait for all the complaining about how the first season was better!

It looks like knives are getting sharpened for Ant-Man and Civil War is going to be pretty stuffed and continuity-heavy for ostensibly a Captain America sequel.

There was a phone ringing during that shot that tricked my brain into thinking I was watching The Office for a nanosecond.

Poor auld Deb, was she better off being saved here? At least if she had died here she wouldn't have to endure seeing her father-figure/lover murdered, being told she was in love with her adoptive brother (?), finding out that he was a serial killer and that she and all her colleagues were incompetent failures,

It's hard to get a read how Wiseau feels about women from that book. On the one hand, he was pretty lecherous with the film's sex scenes and he did have that mysterious older woman benefactor, on the other hand, the book makes him seem more interested in homoerotic friendship with Greg than anything with a woman.

What was the last thing Garner was in? That butter movie?

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon has 'Friends Forever' from Miami Connection over the credits, so that is the obvious winner.

I'd agree with that, we can snark about how the park would never be allowed to open but Jurassic Park should definitely be a "here's another adventure" series, not one long story. Blockbuster series are either Star Wars or Indiana Jones and just because more go the Star Wars route these days that shouldn't impede the

Stoic killers, synthy soundtracks, neon? By jove you're right, none of those things can be seen in John Carpenter films!

Adaptation goes pretty far back in film history.

Hahaha hooooly shit

What I find odd about Guru-Murthy is his own lack of comfort when he goes down these lines. Whether he wants walkout publicity or if he really wants profound discussion from fluff promo pieces, it really makes him look like he lacks conviction when he starts tripping over his words and laughing nervously right away.

Yes, why must we hide these things from the children. They deserve to know the truth (?)
