States have different 529 contribution limits - I’ve heard you aren’t limited to your own state’s plan, is that true? And if you contribute until the fund hits the limit, and it continues to grow through its investments, what happens to the amount above the limit?

Probably his water bottle (there appear to be liquid coming out. They don’t carry CO2 pumps, the team car has all mechanical stuff.

They make an Australian version that does exactly that. Annoying that there is no US version.

No undershirts in the summer usually. And not cotton dress shirts when it’s hot, more typically hiking/outdoors oriented long-sleeves like these:

The rolled-up sleeves is kindof a look unto itself, for me at least. Plus it means you don’t have to have all completely separate shirts for winter and summer - I have a number that I just wear year round; sleeves down in the winter, up in the summer. Saves closet space!

Or option 3: long sleeve button up w/ sleeves rolled up? That is generally my preference, although I have a few hiking and western style short-sleeve button ups that I like. For some reason I just don’t like polos, haven’t owned one in like 10 yrs.

Zinc oxide is a perfectly effective sunblock ingredient on it’s own, sounds like Honest Co just doesn’t put enough of it in their stuff to make for easier application (high zinc oxide sunscreens can be like trying to cover your skin in peanut butter).

I use ours in conjunction w/ the A/C, not as a replacement, during the summer. Helps the A/C circulate upstairs faster. In cooler months is useful to purge hot air from a warm day out of the house quickly.

He really uses his arms, I think that’s part of what makes it. Unsurprisingly, there are many videos on Youtube of Tom Cruise running.

Awesome, thanks. My primary phone is Android but we do have an iPad in the household ... I don’t see us jumping on any further home automation anytime soon, so I’ll just buy this. The main reason I want it is for remote control via their app, and for the additional sensors that I can put upstairs where it’s like 10

Is no HomeKit the only thing missing from this version? It’s not a need for me, and considering my energy utility will give me another $50 rebate on top of this I was thinking of finally taking the plunge.

Yea I’m planning on upgrading and would like to retain the roll-back option. That’s why I bought a 1TB SSD ... don’t have to worry about 20GB here and there!

Anyone done a clean install on a Thinkpad? They have a fair amount of Lenovo branded software/drivers (much of which I actually like), but I’ve never had to deal with getting all that to work properly after a clean install, just wanted to see if I should keep anything else in mind before upgrading and wiping...

Mario Tennis (N64) needs to be on there. Was one of the best multi-player games of the era.

You can get cheap bleacher seats for $5, then go to the rooftop patio and hang out, watch the sunset over the mountains, drink some local microbrews and have a good burger (maybe $30 for a burger, fries and two drafts?). There are other nice food spots throughout the ballpark as well. For parking you can find a lot

Doesn’t matter who is managing - the team will never turn around without ownership changes. At this point Coors Field is more of a (quite nice) outdoor restaurant/bar that happens to have live baseball, which is why they still do fine w/ attendance (they win enough home games generally) to apparently have no incentive

The last 3 stages have been great. The climb a couple days ago w/ the 17 switchbacks was nuts. It seems like Quintana will have a good shot next year.

Jesse Plemons! aka Landry aka Todd

Andy Greenwald should go to HitFix, team up with Sepinwall, now that Dan Feinberg has left. Yes, I watch too much TV and spend too much time reading about it. And I don’t feel bad about it.
