I used CM when I had my Nexus S 4G. Partially because the hardware was getting old and CM (with a custom kernel) seemed to be snappier.

I dunno, I'd say the last few years have actually been damn good for tv. A couple of lists of the 'best' tv from last year, from critics I respect. I watch a number of shows from these lists, and they definitely aren't all "dark gritty adaptations" ..

Agreed. I enjoyed 4-5 a lot too, and thought it went out on a high note. But that stretch from mid-2 through mid-3 was flat-out amazing television.

I thought the show really hit its stride in seasons 2 and 3:
