Thing is, mainstream outlets like Newsweek and WaPo and the Times did do this coverage. The Trump die-hards either don’t care or thought of it as lies from a “liberal media” while the good people who went Trump probably believed what was reported but ignored it because they wanted massive change/can’t stand Hillary.
