Leaving this here. To anyone says being antagonized is “part of the job” for fame, success, making big money, blah blah blah you’re missing the point. Some journalists are out to provoke because the bad/nasty reaction gets the headline. It’s a manipulative move and journalism can exist with integrity without it.

I like when Fox News moans about “the mainstream media” from their glittering, ultra-modern studio in the middle of Manhattan.  They simultaneously complain about “cancel culture” and “conservative views being silenced” while, at the same time, boasting about the size of their audience.

Looking at those pics I can still remember the smell my late 70s Halston perfume. Ahh, good times.

If you get the chance, I would recommend the 2019 Halston Documentary on Prime. It’s a good look at the guy without abject devotion to his talent. It avoided the cocaine fueled tantrums but definitely didn’t paint him as a saint either (though honestly it could and should have gone there).
