Are you implying that they added an entire second part of this article about Phelps as the “update” to the story? On what basis? The fact that it says the story has been updated?

The focus in this tweet was heinously off-base and the diminishing of Ms. Manuel’s achievement by juxtaposition with another Phelps win overtly offensive, but:

I don’t know where you’re getting the ‘clear comtempt’ from. I just think it’s not a coincidence that things seem to be going in his favor (her refusing depos) and then BOOM this video comes out.

Phelps is an Olympic athlete: of course he wants the “glory and the spotlight.” And his attempts have paid off since he’s now a 22-time gold medalist at the relatively advanced age of thirty one.
