Yea I was coming here to say something similar. I had ambivalent to negative feelings about Daly prior to see him on The Voice. But watching him in the audition rounds, exuberantly hugging those who move on and getting nervous in the back room with the families won me over. He seems genuinely into it with them.

Katniss makes up having a bionic ear. She hurt her ear and they fixed it and then lied about it to explain why she had knowledge of the force field. They could easily get around that by simply not asking her about how she knew about the force field.
