Those pants are baffling me. I feel like if I belted my husband's pants and cuffed them it would look the same? Why though?

I thought the idea was that the character does believe in that fairy tale stuff and that's sort of where the comedy comes from. In the first promo her friend says something like "Your life is not a romantic comedy."
me too! the new girl can be very harsh and finola was always so warm and caring and interested in uncovering the real issues - while also being like "girl, what are you doing?"
Yep my band was super cheap and I'm already toying with the idea of some fun fashiony rings to wear on that finger for the days that my wedding band doesn't match with the rest of my jewelry.
I agree with this! I work in a tech related field and am proficient with the world so I can do my job efficiently. I don't code because it doesn't really appeal to my skill set but I am interested in technology and can hold my own talking about it. What articles like this don't get is that there are a lot of tech…
Happy Birthday to you as well!
Thank you! I agree - I'm not one for birthday parties in general so tomorrow I will be in New Orleans eating po' boys and drinking cocktails!
I love that she acts like not having a "formal" birthday party by the age of four is something surprising and restrained of her. I'm going to be 30 tomorrow and I still have never had a formal birthday party!
*I'm not a parent but babysit/am very close to my 3 year old niece.
oh, i love color coding the whole cell so that the resulting sheet is very colorful. I also tend to use my favorite colors so my work docs are all orange and hot pink. The little things bring joy to a otherwise dull work week.
I actually think this is awesome. I use spreadsheets for completely unnecessary things and get an unnatural sense of calm when everything is laid out in color-coded cells. I'm married but if I were online dating I would totally do this but not send them out to potential dates.
When she was first announced, or leading up to the casting announcement when people were first starting to be surprised that Rue was black, Suzanne was asked about it by E!, or someone. And she was just like, "No, Rue is black" pretty unequivocally. It was awhile ago and I wouldn't count on these idiots remembering or…
Plutarch isn't really in book 1 - he references that he was there in book 2 but he's not introduced in book 1 at all. So yea, I think they haven't cast him yet and won't till CF because the internet would have definitely exploded had he been cast.
I watch How I Met Your Mother, which is on right before this and every week, in the 20 - 30 seconds it takes me to locate the remote and change the channel when this show comes on, it conveniently reminds me how racist it is. It's quite impressive that it happens every single week and works as a great deterrent.
Don't feel too bad - he's not really in the first book but they're pumping him up for the movie since they need a Capitol villain and Snow doesn't get super serious until the next book.
I'm not going to go crazy but I'm going to wear a green tshirt and a promotional mockingjay pin.
Not having seen the film yet (obviously) I can't say for sure. But I absolutely love these books and I feel like watching the trailers gives me the same burst of adrenaline and ohmigodwhatsgonnahappen feeling that reading the book did - so maybe it WOULD be a good film/book for your experiment. Actually, one of my…
I feel really sad for everyone in this video.
One of the running jokes on How I Met Your Mother is how gay men love Marshall and he is always flattered by it instead of responding negatively.
Yea, I started buying cute tall socks so I can wear them on top of tights, under my boots to prevent this. I sort of like the look though.
