I’m utterly and completely terrified of airplanes. I have flown, and the last flight I was on was a nightmare. I typically spend the seconds after lift-off trying to drown out the little voice in my head insisting that I unbuckle and careen to the cockpit demaning that they land the plane and let me off, and this time

I find most women I run into who are crazy for Holly are really just crazy for the idea of a pretty, quirky girl partying it up and finding true love in NYC. I don’t think many of them think about it harder than that.

Here is what happens to the vintage (and mind, I’m cool with re-purposing *damaged* vintage, but she was gutting perfectly wearable things to create THIS)

That would absolutely not surprise me. She was a well known binge shopper in the vintage fashion world. She actually had a “friend” who she used as her “textile manager” (she was the one CL dispatched to contact me by email, then phone, to prove I’d owned the garments she bought from me). She would buy like mad on

Oh, it is. I know for a fact, and I know that was her intent with mine (though I didn’t know until after the Twitter drama...and these were exquisite, superb condition early 1900s-1920s dresses). Either someone stole them or she lost them in her messes. I hope they escaped the hacking apart she had intended for them.

I was too...in fact, was *thrilled* to sell her some of my things! I was utterly shocked when I was alerted to her crazy rants about me on Twitter! Of course I learned a lot about her in that moment.

Hahaha....I don’t really get the hate on Holly Golightly, but C.L. I’m on board with!

While I’m certain there is sexist hatred for Courtney, I also know the woman creates much of it for herself with her behavior toward other humans. Having had my business attacked by her personally for days on Twitter years ago, I can attest to just how crazy and MEAN she is. She bought some things from me, forgot she

Carly Fiorina is a horrible candidate, would be a horrible POTUS. Not because she’s a woman of course, but because she’s got no real experience and she’s not even a brilliant business leader. Those are facts.

Loathe it with that dress, the colors are too rich and autumnal. But I like it. I just hope she didn’t pay much for it, because it could easily be slapped together with a few bits from a craft store and bobby pins.

Hideously FABULOUS, rather.

That, I suppose, would be one thing. But these designers are literally just buying vintage (often unlabeled, as much of it is) and copying it and calling it their own design. It’s fraud, and it’s cheating the people who believe the designed created it. Reproductions sold as repro are a totally different thing.

I remember far too much (jumping on the back of a drunk stranger’s motorcycle, riding on a folded towel for chrissakes, at a Harley weekend rally? sure! passing a bottle of booze back and forth beween bikes on the highway? you bet!) and now that I’m a parent with a pre-teen girl I’m not sure if I want to remember all

Was years ago now, but if I recall correctly it was showing up online as available to buy. She did one in the same colorway and then others in different colors.

Well, I’ll give that 5 year old this...most “fashion designers” are really only paying their minions to go find vintage clothing, buy it on the cheap or steal photos so they can reproduce it and slap their name on it. This kid is only doing what Lauren, Sui, Kors and the lot of them do daily. Reproducing something

Perhaps, but god guac is good guac. Perhaps theirs gets stuck in your beard?

And lord NEVER the Bleu Cheese. An abomination, a moldy thing. Nope.

This new “awareness” is fully self serving.

And do you think Santorum has read these and/or gives a shit?

I love those ads. LOVE THEM.
